Referential integrity is a method for ensuring the correctness of data in the RDBMS

Referential integrity refers to the consistency that must be maintained between primary and foreign keys, i.e. every foreign key value must have a corresponding primary key value.

  1. Nice explanation, Referential Integrity in SQL is one of the fundamental concept but often programmer underestimate and underutilized it.
